History
The Enchanted Playhouse Theatre Company endowed in 1992 to present people of all ages with classic entertainment from novels, fables, and fairy tales. Staff, volunteers, performers, designers, and artist from Tulare County operate the theatre. Attending their performances are a great way to bond with your family over the entertainment of putting traditional stories into a visual perspective.
Upcoming Shows
The theatre provides year-round entertainment to the community of Visalia and Tulare County. The next play will have performances beginning April 27th and continuing throughout May. This play will take you on a soaring adventure to meet the lost boys and Tinker Bell in the Disney classic, Peter Pan.
In October enjoy a performance like no other with A Walk in The Woods. Watch as your childhood fairy tales combine into one epic performance. From Goldilocks to Hansel and Gretel, this is one play you don’t want to miss.
In December enjoy A Christmas Story and watch as Ralphie Parker embarks on a quest to wake up to a Red Ryder BB gun under the tree on Christmas morning. Enjoy all the details from the movie performed live on stage.
Tickets
In addition to exceptional live performances of beloved stories, fables, and fairytales, the prices aren’t extensive either. People can enjoy the entertainment for tickets ranging from five to eight dollars depending on the show time. You can buy your tickets ahead of time online or at a ticket outlet. Box office tickets purchased the day off do cost eight dollars for the 7 and 4 pm showings. Afternoon showings at two o clock remain five dollars.
